London Marathon… please sponsor me!

So as some of you may know, I will be running the London Marathon on April 21st this year. I am running for Variety – The Children’s Charity and am looking to raise £2000.

If I hit my target I will run the last stretch – along the mall – in my sash and crown! (and I can reassure you that crown is painful for any period of time, just stood still!)

And I was back to Scotland!! My sister was over from Spain, where she lives, for Xmas and before she went home I decided to go and show her around Scotland as she had never been! I had such a fabulous time last time, I just knew she would love it! We stayed at One Devonshire Gardens, in Glasgow, for a night and then went up to Loch Lomond to stay at Cameron House which was just incredible!! We visited Glen Coe, Gleneagles, Inverary Castle, Sterling Castle and even Loch Fyne.

At Gleneagles I was honoured to meet head Chef of the restaurant that won Restaurant of the year 2012 – Andrew Fairlie!

I got to see bagpipe players and eat haggis- it was all very traditional! Miss Scotland would be proud!!

Where’s Wally!

Happy new year!! I would like to wish you all a prosperous and healthy 2013. For new years eve I went out in disguise dressed as Wheres Wally!! Every year the town my parents live in, Torpoint in Cornwall, go all out for new years eve. Everyone – and I mean everyone- dresses in costume before entering into the local pubs, clubs restaurants and bars!! Its a great laugh and I even saw some other Wally family members!

Miss England Xmas Lingerie Special!

If any of you are regular Daily Mail readers then you may have spotted myself, along with a few old Miss Englands, bearing almost all for the wonders of lingerie!!

Thats right the Daily Mail printed a piece with myself, Alize Mounter (2011), Jess Linley (2010), Kat Hodge (2009), Laura Coleman (2008) and Georgia Horsley (2008) in fabulous underwear.

Accessible Retail Xmas Lunch with Variety…

I had a fabulous day at the Accessible Retail Xmas Lunch. I drew the raffle with presenter John Inverdale who compared the show! Over £30,000 was raised for Variety that day and I was lucky enough to hand over the cheque, from last year, to a handful of children that had spent the morning with us.

Not only did I get to enjoy a fabulous three course xmas dinner (during which I finished off not only my own chocolate souffle – but the people sat either side of me!!) The thousand strong audience were treated to some stand up comedy from Miles Jupp… if you haven’t heard this guy- check him out he’s hilarious!!

Visiting Athens…

So I have never been to Greece before and jumped at the opportunity to go to visit Athens and open a clothing shop called Dreamwear.

I was lucky enough to take my mum along with me and we had a wonderful trip. I got to meet loads of Greek celebrities and appear on two separate television channels- I even got interviewed live!! We visited the Acropolis and the first ever Olympic Stadium. The weather was fabulous and the food and people were great. I cant wait to go back!

Clothes Show Live 2012

The Clothes Show Live was held at the Birmingham NEC from the 7th-11th December. I attend this event annually and always have a ball. This year, as Miss England, I was only there for day one on the Fresh Academy stand. Fresh are the official photographic sponsors of Miss England and are the team behind some of my favourite shots of myself!
